In the meantime, here's what I've been reading. Check them out.
Incarceron by Catherine Fisher
This is the story of Finn, a prisoner who can't remember anything about his life before prison, and Claudia, the warden's daughter. Incarceron is literally a living prison, and trying to escape it is more dangerous than trying to survive in it. Finn is willing to risk it to get out. Claudia is willing to risk everything to escape her arranged marriage, and the only way she can do that is to get into the prison. Enter a pair of strange keys that allow Finn and Claudia to communicate and help each other out. This book will keep you turning the pages just out of sheer curiosity to find out what happens to both of the characters, especially when they finally meet in person. A great read, especially if you're a fan of Garth Nix or Suzanne Collins.
The Van Alen Legacy by Melissa de la CruzThis is the fourth book in the Blue Bloods series, and it is action-packed. We now know Bliss's true identity, and watch as she figures out what she can and can't do with the "visitor" around. Schuyler and Oliver are on the run, but Jack catches up to them. Does he beat the silver bloods to it? Now Kingsley and Mimi are working side by side trying to find Jordan. Does anyone find romance? Or will the Blue Bloods continue to be in constant danger. Or both? This book has so much going on, and I can't share more or give anything away. Give it a read and find out for yourself.
And don't forget to come to the library October 2nd at 3:30!
